Our Mission

Introduce Jeff Davis Parish to prospective clients, assist our existing businesses to grow, utilize our resources to expand economic diversity, and create local quality jobs for our citizens.

Economic Development is funded through the City of Jennings, the Towns of Lake Arthur and Welsh and the Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury through the Jeff Davis Parish Landfill Commission.

The office has alliances with the Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance, One Acadiana, Acadiana Regional Alliance, Imperial Calcasieu Planning Agency, and the Louisiana Department of Economic Development, Agriculture and Forestry, Natural Resources and Transportation and Development and the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana.
