Crawfish Farm Tours

Join us for an authentic Louisiana crawfish experience on a working crawfish farm in Jeff Davis Parish. Your adventure begins right at the pond, where you’ll step onto a comfortable deck overlooking the water. This is where the crawfish are raised and harvested — no staging, no simulations, just real farm life.

Your guide, Burt, is both an educator and a farmer who is passionate about sharing the crawfish story. He’ll walk you through how crawfish are raised, harvested, and prepared, all while giving you an up-close look at the pond and equipment. His experience, humor, and love for the farm make the tour truly memorable for guests of all ages.

After the crawfish pond portion of the tour, your group will enjoy a guided visit to the Gator Chateau, where you’ll learn about alligators and get a chance to see them up close.

Tours run March – May (Crawfish Season), on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9AM.

The crawfish tour is designed for groups of 10 or more.
