This bracket-style foodie competition is your chance to taste your way through Jeff Davis Parish and help crown the Best Boudin Ball. Visitors and locals alike are invited to try the boudin balls at participating restaurants, cast your votes, and watch the matchups unfold as the bracket advances.
Each stop brings its own unique take on this Louisiana favorite — crispy, savory, and full of local flavor. Check the current bracket to see who’s still in the running, then head out and support your favorites. Get ready to eat, vote, and cheer on your picks all the way to the final round!
How it Works:
The JDP Boudin Ball Tip-Off starts with a nomination form where the top 8 restaurants earning the most votes make the bracket. Once the bracket is set, restaurants will go head to head each week in March. We encourage everyone to visit the restaurants, try the boudin balls, and vote through our weekly form for their favorite. Each week, the restaurant with the most votes advances, and at the end of the tournament, one champion will take home the JDP Boudin Ball Trophy and bragging rights.
